Pamela is an experienced psychologist working with children, adolescents, families and adults presenting with a range of difficulties. Picture
Pamela’s main area of interest are developmental trauma, attachment difficulties and behavioural issues, as well as adjustment difficulties and the management of anxiety. Pamela’s work experience includes private practice settings and in the government sector. This has provided her with extensive opportunities to work with other professionals using a multidisciplinary approach; taking into account the many factors that can affect a person’s reactions and behaviours.
She enjoys working closely with parents, carers, schools, other professionals and agencies to obtain excellent client outcomes.

Pamela uses a strength based and person-centred approach in her work with clients assisting them to gain strategies to manage life’s challenges through the use of evidence-based therapeutic interventions which include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy and Behavioural Support.
Pamela is an IABA (Institute of Applied Behavioural Analysis) trained Clinician and has extensive experience working with clients with disabilities. She is an accredited Triple P and Group Stepping Stones Triple P provider and a trained facilitator in Bringing Up Great Kids. Pamela uses a trauma informed practice model and has worked extensively with children in care of child safety, their carers and support systems.
