Jamie is a registered psychologist who is currently undertaking the Clinical Psychology Registrar training in order to become a registered Clinical Psychologist. Jamie graduated from Griffith University with a Masters of Clinical Psychology in 2020.
Jamie has acquired work experience across a variety of settings including a day training centre for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, university clinic, primary school, and acute mental health setting in the hospital service. She has experience working across the lifespan including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults.
Jamie is dedicated to furthering her learning by working with a wide range of client presentations and engaging in ongoing professional development. She is passionate about providing holistic, person-centred, and evidence-based care for all clients, and is committed to supporting them in overcoming their unique challenges and achieving their goals. Jamie believes that everyone has the potential for personal growth and strives to provide individuals with a safe space to facilitate improved mental health and overall wellbeing. Jamie also aims to provide a culturally safe therapeutic environment for clients from all walks of life.
In her spare time, you can find Jamie engaging in ocean “therapy” - surfing, diving, or simply enjoying the salty breeze and crashing waves.
