Alison is a warm and compassionate psychologist, who is dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with empathy and care. She completed her Graduate Diploma inPsychological Science at Bond University in 2021, building on her background in occupational rehabilitation and mental health support.
Alison has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life and work-related stress, and supporting individuals coping with physical injuries. She also provides assessments for intellectual functioning, academic skills, and ADHD. Over the course of her career, Alison has worked with a wide range of clients, collaborating with organisations including QLD WorkCover, NSW iCare, ServicesAustralia, and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. She has also contributed to the NDIS, where she worked within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with complex needs.
Alison works with children (aged seven and above), adolescents, and adults, tailoring her approach to each person’s developmental stage and unique circumstances. She is committed to providing evidence-based, client-centred therapy in a safe and supportive environment.
Alison values a holistic approach to wellbeing, considering not only the cognitive and emotional aspects of menta health, but also the social and physical factors that contribute to each client’s overall quality of life.
