Bio
Emily is a warm and compassionate Provisional Psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at Bond University. She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from Southern Cross University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Charles Darwin University.
Emily values a client-centred and collaborative approach, working alongside you to develop a shared understanding of the factors impacting your wellbeing. She aims to support clients in navigating life’s challenges while fostering greater psychological health, resilience, and overall well-being. Emily has experience across both clinical and public health settings, delivering evidence-based psychological interventions with children, adults, and older adults.
Emily draws on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed approaches. She provides support for:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Stress management and burnout
- Interpersonal challenges
- Adjustment difficulties
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Relationship stress
