Bio
Emily is a warm and compassionate Registered Psychologist who completed a Master's of Clinical Psychology at Bond University, an Honours degree in Psychology at Southern Cross University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Charles Darwin University.
Emily values a client-centred and collaborative approach, working alongside you to develop a shared understanding of the factors impacting your wellbeing. She aims to support clients in navigating life’s challenges while fostering greater psychological health, resilience, and overall well-being. Emily has experience across both clinical and public health settings, delivering evidence-based psychological interventions with children, adults, and older adults.
Emily draws on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed approaches. She provides support for:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Stress management and burnout
- Interpersonal challenges and relationship stress
- Adjustment difficulties and life transitions
- Emotional regulation and behavioural challenges
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Disordered eating and body image
