Rise & Thrive Supervision Group

Weekly Provisional Peer Supervision.

Groups for depression.

 

CBT for Anxiety and Rumination

This 6 week telehealth program helps clients to understand and manage their anxiety. Using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, clients are given psychoeducation regarding anxiety, are taught strategies and techniques for managing anxiety, as well as weekly goals and action points.

CBT for Low Mood

This 6 week telehealth program helps clients to understand and manager low mood. Using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, clients are given psychoeducation regarding low mood and depression, are taught strategies and techniques for managing low mood, as well as weekly goals and action points.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Depression

This program is an innovative eight session program that has been clinically proven to bolster recovery from depression and prevent relapse.  The approach integrates cognitive therapy principles and practice into a mindfulness framework.  

Circle of Security Parenting Program

The Circle of Security Parenting Program is an early intervention program for parents and children that focuses on the relationships that give children emotional support. This 9 week program will provide opportunities for parents to develop key skills that will enable them to build secure relationships with their children. This program can target any age group.

Get Lost Mr Scary

“Get Lost Mr Scary” is a cognitive behavioural program that helps children develop skills to cope with fears and worries. These worries might be general fears or a more specific phobia. It is an experiential program and incorporates a lot of play and fun activities. The group runs for seven weekly sessions for approximately one hour, with a one-off booster session six weeks after completing the group. There are three compulsory parent sessions at the beginning, middle and end of the group.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Experiential Adolescent Group

This is a six week program for adolescents to introduce them to the experience of ACT or Accept, Choose and Take action. This program will give kids a way to understand how they can live life in a way they value the most.  It will also teach them about how the mind works and how we learn from our experiences. The aim of the program is to use experiential mediums, to facilitate teenagers’ experience of the ACT concepts. This program is suitable for adolescents aged (13-18y)

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for Adolescent Girls

This program focuses on modifying disrupted interpersonal relationships or modifying expectations about relationships.  The four areas to be covered are - Grief, Role Transition, Interpersonal conflict, Interpersonal Sensitivity. ITP is proven to be effective in treating teenage depression.  The program runs for two hours per week for five weeks.  

Bringing Up Great Kids

Bringing Up Great Kids is a program designed to assist parent to increase self-reflection and utilise more mindful ways to communicate with their children and respond to their behaviours.  The target group for this program includes vulnerable or are at-risk parents of children 0-12 years. The program can be delivered over 6 x 2 hour sessions or adapted into a 4 x 3 hour or 2 x 6 hour sessions as required.   

Recognising Emotions and Establishing Friendships (REEF)

REEF is a group-based social skills program which helps children who experience challenges with social skills to make and maintain friendships, understand and respond to social cues appropriately and identify, understand and manage their emotions more effectively.
