Referral Types
At Drop of Life Psychology Clinic, we accept a number of different referral pathways which are outlined below. If you are unsure as to which referral is most suited to you, please contact the practice and our friendly admin team can assist you with understanding and obtaining the most suitable referral.
The referral pathways that we accept include:
- Mental Health Care Plans (co-payment applicable)
- Department of Veterans Affairs Referrals
- Private Health Insurance
- Work Cover
- NDIS
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Referrals
- Psychological Services Program (though GCPHN) Referrals
If you do not have a referral you can access our services as a private client.
Session Fees
At Drop of Life Psychology Clinic, our session fees vary for our psychologists.
Session fees for our psychologists with a General or Clinical Registration range from $220 - $280 per session. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate, which can range from $93.35- $137.05 (dependant on whether your psychologist holds a General or Clinical Registration).
Session fees with psychologists with a Provisional Registration are $140 - $150 per session. No Mental Health Care Plan rebate is applicable with Provisional Psychologists.
If you have private health insurance, you may be entitled to a rebate from your insurer.
