Bio
Christie is a Provisional Psychologist completing the 4+2 Internship Pathway at Drop of Life Psychology Clinic. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) on 2018. Once Christie’s internship is complete, she will be taken on as a fully registered psychologist within the clinic.
As a new psychologist, Christie's clinical interests include working therapeutically to support a broad scope of disorders, across the lifespan. During her internship, Christie has gained experience working with neurodevelopmental, depressive, anxiety, behavioural, autism/ASD and trauma/stressor-related disorders. Christie also has experience working therapeutically with clients who present with a broad scope of social issues inclusive of, but not limited to problems that elderly adults, culturally diverse, LGBTQI+ and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples face. While Christie works with all ages, she has a clinical interest in working with adolescents. She also offers psychometric testing for assessing intelligence, personality and memory.
Christie is passionate about practicing a combination of holistic and client centred approaches in order to help her clients overcome the struggles that they face.
