Christie is a psychologist with General Registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2018 and has experience working across private practice, school settings, and government mental health services, including hospitals and emergency departments. Christie’s professional journey has given her the opportunity to support young people and their families in navigating severe and complex mental health challenges.
Christie considers it an honour to be invited into someone’s life story. She believes her role is to hold space for you, walk alongside you, and create a safe environment where you feel heard and supported. She works from a client-centered approach, meaning she believes you are the expert in your own life. Christie also incorporates trauma-informed practices and uses a neuro-affirming lens to ensure the care she provides is sensitive and supportive.
