Bio
Elissa combines counselling and psychotherapy with Clinical EFT (tapping), working at the level of the nervous system to reach what talk therapy alone often can't. Clinical EFT brings together somatic, cognitive and exposure-based techniques, and is increasingly supported by clinical research.
She is a PACFA Registered Counsellor and a Certified Clinical EFT Practitioner (EFT International), and holds a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy from ACAP. Her counselling draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, within a trauma-informed frame.
Her areas of focus include trauma and complex PTSD, anxiety, stress and burnout, depression, emotional abuse recovery, relationship reactivity, chronic pain and sleep, grief, and developmental trauma.
In-person sessions on Saturdays. Telehealth appointments available weekdays.
